Now, making money on the Internet isn’t easy, I do not care who you are. Unless you’ve got some experience with Internet Marketing or have a horseshoe up your ass, you will not make money onlineeasily. That’s not to state that make money on the Internet is impossible, trust me, it’s very very possible, the problem exists when you are starting out trying to make some cash onlineit will be a much harder task.

For those of you who have not heard of Chitika, let me tell ya, it’s a great substitute to Google for those sites that are high-traffic but have low keyword value or Pay Per Click. You can consider sites that are on Google images and therefore get a lot of traffic from Google or Bing images. Google or Bing images can send a lot of traffic to your site, but the cost per click from visitors coming from the image directories will generally  be very low. Aside from images, there are manysites that do not have high paying keywords but get quite a few clicks. On Google Adsense your pay per click may be very low, often pennies, whereas on Chitika you can increase that to about 10 cents per click which as you can guess will increase your over-all monthly payout. Another benifet to using Chitika over Adsense is that they payout after you reached 10 dollars or more in a given month. I can’t tell you how motivational it is for you to receive some sort of payment for all your hard work online.

That doesn’t mean that you can rely exclusively on Chitika, it’s just another source of revenue that you should be using. Quite frankly, Chitika isn’t as Good as Google for those high paying keywords so I would refrain from using it on your high-paying keyword sites.It’s all about diversifying your portfolio of tools and testing them until you’ve reached the right balance. Chitika can definitely give you that right balance, but do not expect it to be your cash cow. You must remember that Google Adsense is the king of onlineadvertisers, and it therefore has cornered to market, meaning that it can generate more cash per keyword than Chitika.

That said, feel free to experiment, you never know until you try, and using Chitika as part of youron the internet money making strategy is worth it.

Making money with Adsense is unfortunately, to a Largeextent, a trial an error process. Firstly, it’s clear that targeting algorithms will become evensuperior and more dominant then they’re now. This has visibly been seen with the Google search engine itself over the last few years and it should be of no shock as this occurs with AdSense. Advertisers will become visible in more fitting results and those advertisers who manipulate their content to grant high paying keywords to appear may struggle to do this unless it is essentially fitting to their content.

Another thing which is bound to happen is more protection for AdWords advertisers concerning click fraud. Google acknowledges this to be a very key issue that it needs to address as quickly no doubt it will happen as fast as possible. At the moment those who have high levels of traffic, can easily disguise IP addresses and increase CTR ( Click Through Rate).

Google is always keen on improving its products and this has been seen before in AdSense. The search engine company has introduced site-targeted AdSense CPM, or what some people call “smart pricing” and domain blocking and there will probably be improvements that have already been added by other similar sites.

One such example is the option for the advertiser to have more control over where the content is being displayed. This could mean blocking your site from displaying on several addresses that host AdSense banners.

Another idea that has been advanced is that Google will integrate AdSense in other forms of media like newspapers or TV and so on. While this might seem to be more on the science-fiction side of the facts there’s no indication that this might not happen.

Google have access to an international array of over 150,000 advertisers of whom may chooseto penetrate offline markets in different countries. With Google’s strong network of advertisers, they may chooseto appoint or grant offline distributors to create a format for Adwords advertising in content, in search and now offline.

More options could be implemented for AdSense publishers, allowing them to specify keywords of their own. While Google has been reluctant of this there is no indication that this won’t happen in the future.

Also, a lot of people are demanding a clear specification of the pricing policy of AdSense. Google has given no indication of why this isn’t public information but at this moment it seems highly unlikely that such information will ever be present on Google AdSense.

Another feature that could find itself into AdSense would be letting website publishers see which links are generating clicks on their website and based on what keywords they arrive there.

This could end up being a major issue that could threaten the entire system as it could perhaps encourage more adsense only websites as profits become more transparent. A lot of people may make AdSense-only sites, designed just for making profits through AdSense.

While this is already happening today, it might be foolish of Google to put such tools in the hands of its publishers.

However, one thing that could happen is a way for users to fixtheir issues with low AdSense generated income on their site. This could be done through an on-line wizard or something similar that would make suggestionsto website owners based on their contents.

But the major buzzword of the day is RSS. The possibility of sending targeted ads directly to users without requiring any navigation on their behalf is becoming a reality with RSS. And there are clear signs that Google is not going to let such an opportunity pass by.

This is what “interactive television” and similar items have been trying to do for quite some time now. But the Internet would be a much bettermedium for this, because there are no mediums quite as interactive as the Internet.

Making money with Adsense is definetly doable, but you need to work at it, do not settle into a comfort zone. In the end, this is mostly speculation and we are bound to have Google surprising us with new features we would have never thought of.

When I first started out on the Internet, I thought that making money online would be an easy thing to do. Perhaps your story is the same as mine. I purchased a hosting service, chose a domain name and started writing posts. I did so religiously too, virtually every day I would write a 100 – 200 word post thinking that eventually, Google would see how hard I worked and start sending me web traffic. Although it sounds naive now, that is how I viewed SEO at the time, I figured that my hard work would eventually be rewarded by the all caring and righteous Google. Realizing, after a couple of months that I was getting only a handful of visitors per day, I then did what many of you are currently doing, and started chasing social traffic. I began to stumble, Digg, Reddit my way to one thousand visitors per day, but soon realized  that I was making absolutely no money with this method. Perhaps your story sounds similar.

In my quest to making money online with website traffic, I ignored my instinct which was telling me that social traffic was not making me any money online and kept plugging away at it. Let me tell you, there is a whole world of social traffic groups who have been permanently lost in cyberspace due to their fanaticism in chasing social traffic. Eventually, seeing no financial rewards for all my hard work, I dropped out of all the social sites groups and concentrated on the Search Engines.

I think I was more unlucky than most, because although I started optimizing my site for Search Engine Traffic, I had failed to do my homework in getting Search Engine Traffic for high paying keywords. Instead, my site was optimized for worthless keywords that weren’t making me much money with Adsense. At one point, I was ready to get rid of Adsense altogether, I was tired of working my butt off with no rewards.

Perhaps you too made a lot of mistakes in making money with search engine traffic as I did. One thing is for sure, I made more mistakes than most, but if I’ve got one thing working for me is my stubbornness. I kept refusing to give in, knowing that I could make money online with Google Traffic if I just kept learning, and plugging away at it. Eventually, I learned the right methods to make money with Adsense, and kept repeating it until I began to see a steady stream of income. When I think back on how many hours I’ve wasted making all the wrong mistakes, it’s a wonder I didn’t quit sooner, but I’m glad that I kept tweaking my sites for Adsense.

The reason I’ve detailed my experiences is to show you that even someone like me, who made so many, if not all the mistakes in making money with traffic can make money online. but what I’m also attempting to convey is that if you decide to chase social traffic like StumbleUpon, Digg, Reddit etc, you too will be wasting your time and resources and eventually learn that there is no money with that type of site traffic.
